Biography
I am a watercolor artist based in Lithuania, creating atmospheric landscapes inspired by memories, light, and the changing moods of nature.
After completing my studies in architecture, I found myself drawn back to the simple joy of creating with my own hands. What began as a hobby gradually grew into a passion, and watercolor became an essential part of my life.
I am fascinated by the freedom of the medium and rarely work from detailed sketches. Most of my paintings begin with only a feeling, a color palette, or a vague image in my mind. From there, I allow the water and pigments to guide the process naturally, embracing the textures and unexpected effects that emerge along the way.
Although my work is often inspired by nature, I am less interested in depicting a specific place than in capturing an atmosphere, a fleeting impression, a memory, or a quiet moment.
Each painting is created by hand using professional artist-grade watercolors on archival-quality cotton paper.
