This painting was done a couple of years ago, as my Granddaughter Piper, was about to literally take her first flight!!! This fantastical, whimsical image, clearly does not document accurately, that experience, but it is what I imagined in Piper's wildest dreams, a flight would look like!!! Being carried along by birds, Hat heavily flowered, the little girl looks back at the viewer, asking you to read in her expression, her own thoughts about that flight! This canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung, unframed...
