Pigeons in love Original Oil Painting by Ekaterina Dutkevich

An oil painting depicting two pigeons nestled closely together, their bodies touching in a quiet, intimate gesture. The birds are outlined with expressive red lines that contrast with the cool lavender background and enhance the graphic clarity of their forms. Subtle shifts of grey, violet, and blue within the plumage create depth and movement, while visible brushstrokes preserve the tactile quality of the surface. The composition balances tenderness and bold color contrast, giving the work both emotional warmth and contemporary edge. Oil on canvas mounted on board, framed in a hand-painted acrylic frame, ready to hang.
