This Summer I had a lovely holiday in West Cornwall and my head is full of images of the sea still! This watercolour painting was done from a 'plein air' sketch sitting outside at the Paris Inn, Coverack. There was a fantastic array of wild flowers everywhere in Cornwall and here on the cliff top the ones that stand out are a wild pink mallow. The view is ooking to the headland with a hotel building perched to one side.
I have used watercolours on a handmade textured Indian Khadi paper, with a little addition of oil pastel and pen. Comes rolled in a cardboard tube for protection against any knocks in the post.
N.B. The frame in the context views is not included and please check measurements as the size may be not quite to scale in the room.
