Original artwork description:

These are three of our lovely hens that I let roam the garden every day. I enjoyed building up the layers of colour in this mixed media canvas.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
