Moonlight calls (2026) Original Ink Drawing by Rob van Hoek

My drawings are created using a meticulous technique of layering high-quality pigment ink on paper. By utilising professional, archival-quality pigment-based ink pens, countless delicate strokes are built up in successive layers. This intensive process yields a rich, luminous texture with a distinct painterly quality. While each piece contains an intricate world of fine details, they seamlessly blend into a harmonious composition. It is a contemporary approach that bridges the precision of drawing with the depth and fluid feeling of painting.
