I purchased a home built in 1875. One of my delights was to discover what the decades of previous gardeners had contributed to the yard. I was delighted to find one garden full of orange and salmon colored poppies. To capture their beauty, I painted them in oil on copper leaf, which mirrors the glow of the sun in their papery thin petals. e
