Artwork description
A beautiful spiral almost fern frond like that winds its way up. It was inspired by the Tulip staircase in Greenwich, London.
Curves are quite tricky to carve in a linocut so concentration is imperative. I chose the blue colour to evoke a sense of infinity.
Materials used:
Japanese vinyl, professional printmaking inks on Somerset printmaking paper.
Details:
- Linocut on Paper
- From a limited edition of 30
- Size: 38 x 49cm (unframed) / 30 x 40cm (actual image size)
- Signed and numbered on the front
- Style: Photorealistic
- Subject: Architecture and cityscapes
