On My Mind #04
In this work, the architectural forms are deliberately shifted away from their expected position and relationship to one another. They become part of the character of the head rather than a literal representation of a building.
This is one of the things I enjoy about the On My Mind series: starting with something familiar and then allowing it to become slightly strange through small changes in proportion, position and orientation.
The head was designed digitally and 3D printed in high-quality resin before being hand-processed. Metal elements were then incorporated to complete the sculpture.
