On My Mind #02
In On My Mind, I wanted architecture to feel less like an object being placed onto a sculpture and more like something growing naturally from it. This work continues that idea, combining a human head with a cluster of architectural forms that have been deliberately altered, shifted and rearranged.
The forms are not intended to represent a specific building. They come from the experience of repeatedly seeing similar structures and allowing them to change through imagination and making.
The head was designed digitally and 3D printed in high-quality resin before being hand-processed. Metal elements were then incorporated to complete the sculpture.
