Original artwork description
Surrounding a small lake, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, are a number of massive old growth white pines. Two people struggle to even come close to touching fingers when reaching around there bases. They tower hundreds of feet above me as I stand looking up. I can't help be daydream about how this land would of looked back before the lumberjacks saw cut through the first bark. This particular white pine is one of my favorites. It is directly across from the house and I often just sit and look at it. I've always loved the way the limbs of a white pine grow out. There is something very special about these wise old trees.
Old Growth is 14 x 11 inches on deep stretched canvas. It is gallery wrapped, wired and ready to hang. It comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
