Now and Nowhere no 2 (2026) Original Oil Painting by Leezee Lee ( Georgiana L. Nicolae)

Oil painting in an abstract expressionist style with a focus on color and form rather than realistic representation.

I used visible brush strokes and a blend of different media, such as watercolor and inks for the underpainting and and oil paint and oil sticks for the top layer, which gives it a textured and layered appearance. Vibrant and intense use of colours, with a strong emphasis on cool greens and warm reds.
The scene features two central figures walking away from us with a line of figures following behind. This arrangement creates a sense of depth and perspective, as well as a narrative element, suggesting movement. They seem to be rushing somewhere, going about their business, trapped in the loop of trivial existence.
