Original artwork description
This versatility of the inspiration sources, which at first sight may seem inconsistent or even contradictory, essentially succeeds in overcoming the unfamiliar and heterodox by invoking the primary structural features of human existence. As a result, their engagement is accomplished thanks to the leading role that Gabriel Grama gives to his work, the pain, the struggle, the expectation of a better fate, and the dream of a better tomorrow.
Its structural components, in essence, are but the same timeless motives that lead people from the beginning of their journey to the earth to an upward pyramid, always in common with traditions, customs and undisturbed cultural heritage, everyday social reflections and the primary survival instinct. In essence, this is a continuation of "Contemporary Primitivism," where also man appears to be endlessly contradicted by his basic, primitive instincts despite the rapid evolution and unceasing technological advancement.
