I love poplars. They are my favorite trees. With their tall and straight structure, they look like royalties to me. They are strong and bold with their branches reaching out to the sky.
Poplars are a symbol of beauty for Bulgarian people. They are saying that a lady is tall and svelte like a poplar, when they want to say that she is beautiful and noble.

I loved to paint this piece emphasizing golden poplars at a cold winter background. They look like the only creatures keeping the autumn spirit and not letting the warmth of the autumn go.

This original oil painting is done on stretched cotton canvas of size 60x60cm and 1.5 cm deep.
Sides of the painting are painted so it could be hang as it is without a frame if preferred.
