North Dorset Sunrise
Early October,
The sunrise skies become stronger,
I admire the size of the sun,
As it beams up above the chalk hills,
Illuminating the colours of the landscape.

Words and feelings of a view from my attic bedroom window.
Original expressive watercolour on cold pressed Fabriano 300gsm 140lb. High quality watercolours.
Signed on the front and back of painting.
I used a wet on wet technique creating back washes of colours and for shaping the sun my filbert brush. It was all created with my visual memory and lots of expressive brushstrokes.
