Out for a walk on a beach in Norfolk, I'm often inspired to paint the feeling of freshness and space, using my fingers to get as much movement as possible. I adore painting in this way, merging the oils under my fingertips, it's a wonderful method to create atmosphere and really bond with the artwork.
