The painting in the interior "Night Story. Svan Towers" was painting from nature during my plein-air led travel in Georgia in the fall of 2019.

It was in Mestia, the capital of Svaneti. I traveled by bike and lived in a guesthouse in a hysterical part of town.
I decided to go for a night sketch. I stood near the cafe from which there was a little light and I could draw from nature at night.

When I was almost finishing drawing, a local Svan resident who was a little drunk and pretended to be deaf and dumb came up to me, started pointing at the towers that I was drawing, poking my finger and a cigarette at work, it pissed me off a little and I pushed him a little.

What began ... He began to whistle and shout that this was his land and these towers were built by his great-grandmother, and that my spirit would not be here in a few minutes when he returned.

Knowing the hot temper of the inhabitants of Upper Svaneti and having heard different stories of showdowns, I decided not to tempt fate, finished painting the work and went home.
Such a night story happened when I was painting this work from nature.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
