Watercolour with pen and ink, originally for ‘This is Hong Kong’ (1965). An evocation as much as a depiction of place: we have a trader balancing his wares on a bamboo rod; a rickshaw puller; ladies on a night out; and progressively, higher and higher, the tall lights of night time Hong Kong.

This print is authorised for publication by the artist's Estate and has a seal of authenticity embossed onto the white paper margin. It is from a limited edition of 850 and is hand-numbered and hand-embossed. This print has a typed caption running along its paper border. The caption indicates permission and authorisation from the artist's Estate, and from the museum or gallery holding the work. The caption will be concealed by a mount when the print is framed.
