Shadow of Ancestors (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Helen Mount

This painting is inspired by the feeling of standing before distant mountains just after rain, when the landscape seems suspended between shadow and light. I built the composition through multiple transparent layers of acrylic, allowing drips, scratches, and gestural lines to remain visible as part of the work's history. The combination of blue-grey mountains, muted ochres, and soft neutrals creates a calm atmosphere while preserving a sense of movement and transformation.

Packaging: Each artwork is carefully protected and shipped rolled in a sturdy tube to ensure safe international delivery. A tracking number is provided.

Preparation for hanging: The painting is delivered unstretched. It can be easily stretched or framed by a local framer according to your preference.
