Original artwork description
I painted Nature N489 following the pull of the indigo — watching it surge and curl across the white canvas, dragging black marks and scattering turquoise sparks. I did not plan the composition; I tracked it. The process began with a thick layer of gesso, raising texture and relief across the surface. Then fluid ink met water and moved under its own pressure, pulling dark currents through the open ground. Acrylic layers came last, fixing the momentum — matte passages beside lustrous ridges where pigment had stacked. The result is something caught mid-force: a wave at the point of breaking, before the silence after. Stretched on a solid wooden frame with carefully finished 4 cm (1.5") deep edges — no frame needed. Ready to hang, signed on the back, certificate of authenticity included. Packed with maximum care for international shipping.
