This small painting is part of a series of paintings where it is more important to the appearance, color rendering, textures, marks, and scratches on the surface, the use of different mediums such as acrylics, oil pastels and charcoals of the subject. Last but not least it is the surface used: a ceramic stoneware tiles, painted and then finished with transparent flatting, sometimes shiny, certain other opaque.
Questo piccolo dipinto fa parte di una serie di pitture in cui più del soggetto, spesso alberi, è importante l'aspetto estetico, la resa dei colori, le textures, i segni e i graffi sulla superficie, l'uso di medium differenti come gli acrilici, i pastelli ad olio ei carboncini. Infine ma non meno importante è la superficie utilizzata: una piastrella di gres ceramica, dipinta e poi finita con del flatting trasparente, certe volte lucido, certe altre opaco.
