Original artwork description:

"Come on my heart in love, my beautiful cat: hold your claws and let me sink into your beautiful eyes, mixed with agate and metal": that's how Charles Baudelaire inspired me this artwork in expressionist style, made with thick and full-bodied brushstrokes, with vivid but earthy colours. The woman with a glass of wine in her left hand, lying in the arms of her beloved, seems to sink her gaze into the "window on the world" that seems to offer her the presence of a cat turned towards her. I represented him from behind, but he is the real ruler of the scene. "Even the smallest of felines, the cat, is a masterpiece" (Leonardo da Vinci).

Materials used:

Oil colors on wood
