Original artwork description
A large, abstract oil painting inspired by a walk around the beautiful Myddleton House Gardens, a slice of paradise in north London. Despite having lived nearby for years now I only recently stumbled across this gem of a garden.
The painting has been built over many layers of oil paint. Liquin added to the paint has enabled me to move the paint around easily and has lent a lovely, light gloss to the painting.
The box canvas is of a high quality. The deep edges of the canvas are painted in a complementary colour. Hooks and wire have been attached, so the painting is ready for hanging.
