My favourite alley is a tribute to a linden alley which does not exist any more.
I used to walk there every morning, however, the trees were too high and too old and were put down 6 months after we found the place.

I have always seen trees as part of something bigger, one unique organism, and not just separate trees.

I felt a deep connection to trees since many years, and these feelings remain over time, even though these particular lindens are no longer there. Nothing can ever compare with meeting a particular tree which you feel during a random walk..

This artwork is also among my lockdown paintings when every hour spent outside was a blessing.

The painting is almost monochrome artwork in light green light blue tones.
Several linden trees are part of the portrait of the imaginary person. Birds are overflying my favourite linden alley..
