Mother 16x20 oil on canvas _x000D_
This may seem a weird but if I explain a bit maybe it makes it more revealing. There are few things in life as comforting as mother stroking your hair is a moment your upset as a child. This is why I accent this by oversizing the hand to emphasise the weight of the moment on a child’s psyche. The child looks more cartoon like to represent the innocence the lack of experience. When a child feels happiness and sadness it’s at its most pure because life experience hasn’t coloured or filtered the feeling that they are having.

I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement.

I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.

This piece will be carefully packaged using protective materials and dispatched via a tracked courier. If you have any questions or special requests, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
