Original artwork description
Holstein cow and his friend happily starting their day with breakfast of fresh green, painterly painted on oil primed board. I love painting cows face and this is the first time I included cows in landscape painting. I wanted to create the atmospheric morning air and fresh grass for the cows. The back ground is muted but still can see the distant mountain, trees and bushes. I wanted to bring that morning light on to the cows and grass. This painting became one of my favorite.
