Echoes of Past Lives (2026) Original Oil Painting by Mila Moroko

£475

Echoes of Past Lives explores the persistence of memory and the many ways the past continues to look back at us.

The female face emerges through a disrupted surface marked by repeated eyes, fragmented passages and layered traces. These multiple eyes function as symbols of memory, perception and inner witness — suggesting experiences that remain present even when they cannot be fully named or clearly recalled.

The image feels partially revealed and partially obscured, as though identity were being assembled from scattered impressions, fragments of seeing and the emotional residue of past lives. Rather than presenting a fixed portrait, the painting turns the face into a shifting psychological space.

The edges are painted and the artwork is ready to hang.
