In this painting, I wanted to capture the quiet poetry of a single moment when night begins to soften the world. The small shelter, touched by warm orange light, stands as a reminder of how even the simplest places can hold a sense of belonging. The deep violets and blues of the sky reflect the calm that comes just after sunset, when the first stars appear and everything feels suspended in silence. As I painted, I felt as though I was preserving a fragile pause in time a place where solitude becomes comfort, and stillness becomes a kind of gentle music.
