A landscape reduced to its essence - very often I do sketches like this to find out how little it needs to express the landscape around me.... this way of sketching and experimenting with colors is part of developing my canvas work further.
My watercolors are my personal way of exploring nature and the world around me and have become an important part of my art in itself!

Here you find little but very expressive brushstrokes on very smooth paper to show you waves, moon, sea and stars. Colors are difficult to catch on photos when it comes to shades of blue. Here you have mainly blue but some small turquoise shades, too that don´t show well on photos.

Watercolor, ink on thin stone paper, 30x30 cm unframed. Signed on the front and on the back. Comes as a sheet of paper and needs framing.

ATTENTION: The frames shown here are just examples. The painting would also look great with silver frames and also with non-square frames as long as the cut out in the mat is square! Ask your local framers or contact me if you need advice on that!
