In my painting "Mysteries of Venice," I aim to capture the enigmatic essence and hidden nuances of Venice, a city that breathes mystery in every corner. With each stroke, I strive to bring to light those unexplored and often overlooked aspects of a city steeped in history, culture, and art.

Viewed from a distance the composition resolves as a whole; at close range, the viewer encounters the individual marks, ridges and chromatic transitions that animate the surface.

Materials used:

First-rate oil colors of the Florentine brand "DI VOLO" applied with spatula were used for the painting, and the pictorial support is a cottono canvas pre-painted for oil painting with Gesso and Glue.
