I was driving around the outskirts of Ullswater early in the morning and the weather was so calm and still. I stopped to sketch at the lake side finding the most amazing reflections and stillness. I really liked the variety of compositions so I drew a few quick sketches and studies before the light changed and the wind picked up.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

Meditation is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
