Meditation. Dreams. Trying to look into the future.
The figure, wrapped in a blanket, looks as if it is leaving one space and entering another.
The painting evokes a sense of quiet inner transition—as if the figure were suspended between vanishing and the birth of a new form. Soft, diffused textures and muted shades of pink and sand create an atmosphere of sleep, vulnerability and contemplation. The image is reminiscent of a human, a cocoon and a creature on the border between the material and the spiritual. The blue dot-eyes add a sense of innocence and fragility, whilst the grainy surface makes the work almost tactile, as if a memory emerging through the dust of time.
This painting is done with different materials such as enamel, sand, acrylic and oil paints. The surface of this painting is very textured. All this creates a feeling of vibration on the surface of the painting. The edges are painted and the painting does not need a frame.
