Marsh pools at Sunset, Dorset
On the watery heathland,
The ancient marshes of the Isle of Purbeck,
Earth colours and amber orange sky,
The most fertile land,
For nature to enjoy.

Words and expression of my experience of seeing this area often throughout the seasons.
Original expressive watercolour inspired by the beauty of the Dorset lowland nature reserve and the largest in England.
I used Fabriano watercolour paper 300 gsm 140lb cold pressed.
Signed on the front and back of artwork.
Wet on wet watercolour technique was used, three colour process and keeping the colours as natural as possible.
