Original artwork description
Driving along the back roads in Cambridgeshire we saw a couple of hares. They were HUGE! We watched them for several minutes as they ran very quickly across the fields - absolutely beautiful creatures.
When I got home I couldn't wait to have a go at painting them. I had to use water colour to try and capture the quick movements and sense of life.
The painting is large and lively with pencil marks and sketch lines left showing to create a sense of drama and movement.
The painting is supplied rolled in a tube.
