A celebration of the untamed beauty of a summer meadow, Wildflower Reverie captures the joy and spontaneity of wildflowers dancing in the breeze. Layers of luminous turquoise, soft aqua and delicate blush create an ethereal backdrop, allowing vibrant pops of crimson, magenta and white to emerge through a tapestry of expressive marks and rich texture.

Created with acrylic and mixed media, the painting evolved intuitively over many layers, with each flower and seed head gradually revealing itself. Delicate touches of metallic gold catch and reflect the light, bringing a gentle luminosity to the composition and creating subtle changes in appearance as the viewing angle shifts.
