Lucia portrayed drinking her coffee in the beautiful and historic 'coffee of mirrors' in the historic center of Genoa.
In this painting, the artist wanted to capture the beautiful light that is reflected on the floor and on the mirrors inside the bar, creating suggestive backlight effects. For the realization of the painting he prepared several sketches with charcoal.
