Original artwork description:

Colourful Abstract Seascape 16” x 16” inspired by many visits to Seasalter just across the bay from Whitstable, Kent, looking across to the isle of Sheppey the low tide exposes mud flats which reflect the colours in the sky. I have spent many hours sketching and photographing this magical place.

This is a palette knife oil painting (see my story) on hand built and prepared canvas, framed in a floater frame and ready to hang.

I have been painting in Whitstable for some 5 years, standing on the pebbly beach watching the tide ebb and flow, the morning mist across the Swale, the light on the horizon, the clouds coming in from the west over London, and the light out to sea to the north and east. The low tide exposes sandbanks, pebbles, seafood for the gulls to seek. This painting has been inspired by many visits and previous plein air paintings.

My paintings are shipped carefully packaged and ready to hang. Please note,
