Original artwork description
Buttermere is an area that is always inspirational with views around every twist and turn. On a walk towards The Warnscale Bothy this particular view caught my eye. I stopped to sketch at the lake side finding the most amazing reflections and Colours. I really liked the variety of compositions so I drew a few quick sketches and studies before the light changed and the wind picked up.
On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.
Looking Back Towards Buttermere is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
