Original artwork description
On a painting trip to the Mosel in Germany with my artist sister, we set up our easels on the shores opposite Longuich near Trier. It was a hot day and so I chose to stand in the shade of a tree of which the upper branches are included in the painting. In the meantime, my border collie, Islay, swam in the Mosel!
The villages and vineyards of the Mosel are a favourite subject of mine as they are located near my home and offer a very pleasant day-trip which usually ends up with tasting the local produce! Cheers!
