This still life was inspired by a friend who suggested the idea of painting a lobster. I felt so captivated by the aesthetics that I created it outdoors, while relaxing in a park in Nuremberg.
The artwork is made entirely with oil pastels, a medium I truly enjoy for its richness and immediacy. It allows me to convey bright colors and strong textures, giving the lobster its lively, vivid presence against the simple white plate and bold blue background
