  • Biography
Hello! My name is Oleksandra and I’m an artist from Ukraine.
Now I live in the Netherlands, travel around and get inspiration for new works.

In my work, I explore the topic of human identity, expressing love for nature and the surrounding world through my own perception. The people say that my works are not only about aesthetics, also about the pleasure of being in tune with your inner world.

I’m also a tattoo artist (more than 13 years), in turn, this experience greatly influenced my creation now. Some of my tattoo clients have become collectors of my paintings, so many of my paintings are in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

I like to work with canvases of any size, and my favorite media is watercolor. I feel really free with it, how it helps convey the meanings that slip through my fingers like water.
sometimes I add liners, less often watercolor pencils.
I rarely paint with oil paints, rather when I am nostalgic about academic painting at the university (I received a higher art education in 2013)
sometimes I create digital drawings for prints or illustrations.

I really love to paint people, botany, animals and birds. I often put a symbolic subtext in my works, such as ecological themes, to draw attention to the problems of endangered species of animals and plants.
Also you can find symbols and legends of different countries of the world in my works.

Enjoy viewing my work and feel free to send me a message 💛
