"Little Bridge" is an original oil painting on canvas by Antonino Puliafico, developed around architecture, urban rhythm and shifting light. Measuring 100 × 120 cm and dated 2025, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.

The surface is built through palette knife and impasto, creating a tactile dialogue between colour, depth and movement.

The artist’s palette knife technique builds thick layers of paint, capturing sunlight filtering through the foliage and reflecting on the rippling water. Pedestrians crossing the bridge add a sense of movement and human warmth, while boats drifting below bring a note of leisurely charm.

Materials used:

First-rate oil colors of the Florentine brand "DI VOLO" applied with spatula were used for the painting, and the pictorial support is a cottono canvas pre-painted for oil painting with Gesso and Glue.
