This is one of my paintings from a series dedicated to the Eight-thousanders mountains. The artwork is done in an expressive style with a limited color palette. Although red may not be a color commonly associated with mountains, mountains are a place of maximum tension for me, where people constantly overcome their fears and the limits of their abilities. The journey lies on the edge, which is why I chose red as the dominant color.
Lhotse is the fourth-highest mountain on Earth, after Mount Everest, K2, and Kangchenjunga.
