This contemporary textured painting explores a soft composition of overlapping raised forms in off-white, cream, beige and subtle grey tones. The surface was first shaped with texture paste using a palette knife, then painted with acrylic by brush, creating irregular reliefs that catch natural and artificial light from different angles. These variations in thickness produce delicate shadows across the surface, giving the work depth and a quiet mineral quality without relying on figurative representation. The neutral palette keeps the composition light and understated, while the sculpted texture adds a strong tactile presence and makes the appearance evolve throughout the day as the lighting changes. The canvas is stretched over a wooden frame, with the edges painted in titanium buff, a warm off-white that extends the tones of the composition.
