A grey early morning. Everything is still and quiet. A few birds just starting their morning songs. It is a scene of peaceful awakening. Ones soul takes a deep breath before the start of a noisy day.
I had this image for many years before feeling that it was the right time to paint it. Pieces like this are extra special to me. Because they tell me when and how. I feel I have no control. I just paint. It is a beautiful experience.
