Original artwork description
I live and work on a beautiful Lake in France called Lake Annecy. My home is right on the lake so I am inspired everyday to paint a new light or sunset on the lake or even, as in the case, a favourite tree to sit under and reflect. I often see people sitting under this particular tree with views onto the lake and have been many times inspired by the feeling of peace and tranquility. This painting "Meditations" is painted from memory, inspired by the scenery inside and outside of my home. When painting I transform what inspires me through colors and brushstrokes adding to or detracting certain elements at will. This painting has been professionally framed in a beautiful white frame.
