This painting holds a very special place in my heart. As an artist, I make it a strict principle to create my landscapes solely from my own personal photographs and firsthand memories.

During my trip to Finland, I was deeply moved by the magical, endlessly long Nordic sunsets that last for 40–50 minutes, casting a warm golden glow over everything. I created this artwork to capture and share that peaceful, timeless state
of nature.

Painted on high-quality paper using soft watercolor washes to reproduce the glowing sky and calm lake reflections, accented with subtle white acrylic details. The contrasting dark silhouettes of the moored boats and shoreline reed bring balance, depth, and tranquility to the scene.
