Inspired by the sculpture of Rodin titled in the same way, but with the difference that here is a woman, because the figure in the window is a female mannequin. It is also inspired by Hopper's "nighthawks" and the song "Bullet with butterfly wings" by the Chicago band, The Smashing Pumpkins.
This painting has painted edges, so there´s no need to frame it.
