A study of kale plants in the winter garden. In the dark dormancy of winter, kale plants stand proud as if frozen in time (in our garden anyway). Several line drawings in pencil and then pastel overlap each other. Visible brushstrokes add colour in thinned paint. Original artwork on cradled panel. Unframed.
