The upper half curves inward toward a near-circular grey shape that could be the opening of a vessel, a compressed space, or an eye — its interiority suggested but not confirmed. The lower half breaks into looser angular strokes of yellow-ochre and dark brown in opposing directions. No figure is clearly present. The palette is restrained — earth tones and warm greys dominating, the pink-coral the only chromatic temperature shift. The composition reads as something that was once legible, its referent absorbed into the paint surface.
